- Perhaps the cloths you wear is the most crucial part of your appearance. Why? Because people will base most of their first impression of you on the way you are dressed. Unfortunately that is the way most people are in this day and age.
- There are many benefits to dressing well:

- Dress for the Occasion
- It is a common mistake to dress inappropriately for an occasion. This is because time is not taken to examine what the occasion is all about, e.g. the purpose, activities, etc. Before you decide on what to wear, take the time to learn about the event; what were previous events like, what is the overall dress like, etc.
- Another way to help you decide what to wear is by contacting the planner of the event if possible or previous attendees
- It is "OK", if you are over Dressed at an event, it just means that everyone else is under dress. This is to your advantage; you will be more noticeable and many people will be attracted to you because you look so good and professional
